Nuevo video. PLASENCIA. Pecio hundido en Gran Canaria.
Nuevo video submarino editado sobre el famoso pecio Plasencia.Con la finalidad de reunir una variada gama de videos submarinos sobre los pecios que tengo grabado, he comenzado la serie de cortos sobre éstos con una de las joyas que tenemos en Gran Canaria. El lugar es complicado para la práctica del buceo debido a las fuertes corrientes, pero hubo una ocasión que tuve con las condiciones cambiadas , donde la corriente no existía prácticamente, y la visibilidad era de más de 20 metros. Ese día aproveché para filmar los roncadores y los movimientos de las barracudas, jureles y medregales que suelen frecuentar el lugar. Hundido a 36 metros, en Juan Grande, el pecio no es un lugar frecuente de inmersion.

Video tiburón. Nuevas páginas para resolución 1024
He reformado la página web para que se adapte a una resolución más acorde a lo que las estadísticas me dicen ,siendo la gran mayoría de tamaño 1024 de ancho. El acceso es a través de un javascript que redirije la página, y en el caso de que la resolución sea de 800*600 , vuelve a la versión anterior.

El nuevo video de la guerra de los submundos , casi listo.
El video me está dando problemas de sonido, y también he cambiado el final. Por eso, necesito crear algunos nuevos planos con efectos especiales, pero espero pronto poder ofrecerlo como algo novedoso. Mientras, estoy probando el nuevo upload de videos de yahoo, que me parece una manera sencilla también de ponerlos aquí.He probado a subir algunos de los cortos de videos integrados y bueno es recordar algunas imágenes de vez en cuando.

Junio se presenta con buen tiempo pero con mar algo brava.
Durante el més de Junio, hemos observado una marea más revuelta de lo habitual, y ha impedido que saquemos instantáneas más cerca del mar.

Cambios previos en el VBLOG
Previamente a la incorporación de nuevos videos he procedido a cambiar la estructura del blog y adaptarla a la de la página web que tengo. He usado gran parte del css que utilizo y que continúo renovando a medida que vaya profundizando en mis conocimientos del CSS. En breve podré empezar a ofrecer videos que he realizado, así cómo, aquellos nuevos que vaya preparando en el futuro y que considere interesante para incorporar en éste vlog. Un ejemplo de éstos videos es el siguiente que es el inicio de una serie de videos cortos para la web sobre fauna y flora marina del Mar Rojo
Además, dos novedades que intentaré adaptar a partir de ahora: poner el texto en inglés y más formatos de descargas de los videos. Mi inglés escrito no es tan fluido como el hablado, por lo que echaré mano de traductores online, y espero ir mejorando con el tiempo la gramática( o recordar cuanto aprendí hace 20 años). Como suelo leer bastante en inglés, iré repasando términos y frases que entiendo perfectamente al leer pero no soy capaz de escribir de la misma manera. En cuanto a la segunda novedad, los formatos, en cada caso incorporaré , además del video en flv que está integrado en el vblog, descargas de WMV y MP4. Reservo los formatos M4V para la web.

As ground to read enough in English, I will be reviewing terms and phrases that I understand perfectly when reading but am not able to write in the same way. As far as the second newness, the formats, in each case I will incorporate, in addition to the video in flv that is integrated in vblog, uploadings of WMV and MP4. I reserve formats M4V for the Web.

Continuando con la creación de feeds
En el día de hoy, he cambiado el feed de los videos variados, ya que ahora se podrá bajar los videos en variedad de formatos, no sólo wmv. En éste caso, de momento he añadido los formatos MP4 y M4V.Ambos requieren de utilizar el Quick time, y en concreto, serán la base para poder utilizar ITUNES, en un futuro próximo. Respecto a los videos editados, estoy preparando un nuevo video que será la versión larga de LA GUERRA DE LOS SUBMUNDOS, video corto que ya pueden ver en la página web.Estoy capturando imágenes apropiadas para dicho video, y espero que sea del agrado de aquellos que quieran verlo.
El tema de la conversión de los formatos es algo que me está suponiendo tiempo de usar el PC dedicado a ello, dado la gran cantidad de memoria que usa para la conversion, y tratar de buscar una relación calidad tamaño buena para la visualización del video. Evidentemente, en tamaño de pixeles 320x240, pero , cómo ya he indicado, será necesario disponer de Quick time actualizado, si nó, seguramente no podrá verse. En breve arreglaré la página de videos variados , a la que pienso añadir una gran cantidad de pequeños videos de especies que he grabado en lugares como el Mar Rojo y Micronesia.
De momento, la manera de poder disponer de estos formatos en la página de videos variados será a través del feed. Podéis verlo en esta DIRE. No es necesario disponer de un FEED READER,si ya tienen firefox. Es más, en firefox existe la posibilidad de bajar SAGE, que se incorpora cómo una extensión del firefox, y resuelve los problemas de no tener que bajar un feedreader. Yo ya lo estoy usando con frecuencia y realmente es algo que encuentro muy útil.Pueden descargar dicha extensión en ésta direccion a continuación: SAGE . Aunque dé un aviso de no estar firmado, no hay problemas y funciona bastante bien. Una vez instalado, sólo tienen que abrir el paner lateral en Ver>panel lateral>Sage. Una vez abierto, tan sólo queda copiar la dire del feed y se visualizará.
A medida que vaya cambiando la página de videos variados, incluiré todos estos cambios de los formatos.
Otra opción también posible para visualizar los videos de los podcasts es bajarse el programa FireAnt. Es un lector de media, osea, además de leer los feeds normales, viene incorporado un reproductor de videos que admite wmv,mpeg(varios), entre otros formatos, con lo que puede visualizarse perfectamente los podcast sin necesidad de tener que acceder a la web. La dirección para bajarse el programa la tenemos AQUI. Una vez descargado e instalado el programa, tan sólo hay que añadir el podcast y se podrá descargar los videos y visualizarlos integrados en el lector de feeds.

Creación de feeds variados
Estos días he estado creando feeds para poder permitir que aquellos que usen lectores de feed puedan ver las novedades que vaya incorporando a la web. Para ello he incorporado a la web los enlaces pertinentes, bien sea xml o rss, y con copiar las dires y agregarlas a sus lectores, podrán saber si incorporo nuevos videos de una manera rápida, sin necesidad de abrir la web para ello. Además, he incrementado los esfuerzos y he convertidos los videos que ofrezco en formato mp4, con una aceptable calidad, y así pueden incluso usar el ITUNES para visualizarlos cómodamente. El enlace para para ITUNES lo pueden incluso copiar en éste blog, ya que lo tienen en enlaces a la derecha. He comprobado satisfactoriamente que funciona, pero si hubiese algún problema no duden en comunicarlo. En breve daré detalles de cómo lo he echo y así, aquellos que lo consideren oportuno podrán usar el mismo sistema para sus webs. Un saludo...

Reconversion del blog
He decidido reconvertir el blog de delfines por uno más general de todo lo referido a mi actividad sobre los videos submarinos. Además del proyecto sobre delfines y ballenas, en éste blog iré añadiendo todo aquello que considere oportuno y que afecte a la web creada sobre mis videos y fotos submarinas. De momento sólo escribiré en español, ya que el inglés escrito es algo que todavía no he recuperado de forma correcta. Iré tratando de actualizar las cosas que vea conveniente en la web.
En éste momento , ya he podido convertir los videos en varios formatos , que pueden descargarse desde la página de VIDEOS EDITADOS.Estos formatos son WMV, MP4, MOV y 3GP. Debido a que voy aumentando mis conocimientos sobre html y css, en breve modificaré el aspecto del blog. Sean bien recibidos todos aquellos comentarios que consideren oportuno, aunque abriré la posibilidad de que dichos comentarios puedan realizarlos abiertamente sin tener que tener un registro en Blogger.
Además, intentaré realizar comentarios referentes a aquellos aspectos referidos a técnicas y consejos que afecten al Videosub. Por tanto,espero que éste blog sea no sólo un lugar más de hacer pruebas con fotos, javascripts y otras cosas similares, sino un lugar donde poderme expresar abiertamente de todo lo referido al buceo y a las grabaciones submarinas.
